How it works

Every website visit starts with a DNS lookup that turns a name like example.com into an address. Skoonveld answers those lookups. Names on a blocked list get no answer, search engines are steered to their SafeSearch versions, and everything else resolves normally, with DNSSEC validation.

Because filtering happens at the network edge, it covers phones, laptops, smart TVs and game consoles alike, and it works the same on fibre, LTE and public Wi-Fi.
